fotography

i have started putting pictures up from my side project simply called “joel gutowsky photography” (original i know!). i took classes under dr. steven snyder at hbu and completely fell in love with photography. i have not really had the opportunity to jump both feet in…yet. if you like some of the stuff you see please let me know. i need to be encouraged because sometimes i think im not that great. sometimes i think that it is a waste of time and that the nikon d40 that i bought will only be good for taking pictures of my kids in the future.

i would love to take pictures for you. if you want me to come and take pictures of your band, senior pictures, just a random photoshoot, please hit me with a comment and we can get some things going, and try to set something up.

    i think you are great, joel. i love looking at your stuff. i feel emotion in almost every image. that’s what i look for in photography. i just has to move me.

    i know how you feel though, about needing encouragement. believe me. even now there are days when i think “when will all these people realize that i’m really not that good?”

    you are good.

    Joel,
    We have met a couple of times, however I doubt you remember me. I went to school with Kimb. We were bio nerds together. 1. Your photography is AMAZING. 2. I really enjoy reading your posts. 3. I am looking for someone to shoot some family pics as a christmas gift for my parents and other family members. It would be just my 2 brothers (25 and 23) and I.
